Have You Heard presents Last Dinosaurs + Panama

Last Friday night, LIVE RAC was packed with fans of both Aussie bands "Last Dinosaurs" and "Panama". My friends and I were buying the tickets a month in advance since we are such a big fan of Panama and looking forward to seeing them live in Bangkok! The venue is pretty small but great. I personally love small venue because of the intimacy and I tend to feel more connected to the band playing on the stage.
Panama sounds awesome live as on their records and that prove how great they are as a world-class artist. Lighting and sound were great too. The duo delivered a very solid and upbeat performance from the beginning to end. It's beyond my expectation. However, I felt like their time on stage was a little too short, I really wish they could play more songs!

Last Dinosaurs was pretty great too but I didn't stay till the end. Overall, it was another really fun night!

Erlend Oye & The Rainbows Live in Bangkok

Erlend Oye and The Rainbows Live in Bangkok on at The Jam Factory. The venue was lovely and cozy with a crowd of approximately 300 people. Erlend Oye got us all singing, jumping, waving our hands and dancing to rhythm. He even taught us some Italian words to sing along to his Italian song "Dico Ciao" and letting us listen to the Keyboard guy of The Rainbows singing a song in Icelandic. I personally don't know the song but Icelandic language sounds absolutely beautiful. It was really special. Erlend Oye and The Rainbows sure got us all entertained. Thank you for such a great show. Talking about Icelandic I just have to mention Sigur Ros a band from Icelandic. Their songs are awesome that you don't need to understand Icelandic to enjoy their music. It can easily pull you in. Anyhow, Sorry in advance for the photo quality. All the photos and video were taken with my iphone. I have to admitted that sometimes I get lazy to bring my proper camera since it's too heavy. I am sure you guys understand :)

I opted for crop top and teamed it up with my colorful vintage skirt, crossbody bag, and a pair Jeffrey Campbell shoes.
I was trying to upload several videos I recorded during the gig but it didn't work because the files are too big. In case you wish to see more videos can head over to my facebook page. I'll try to upload more. Have a great day!

Ear Candy: Blondie "Sunday Girl"

This is "Sunday Girl" by Blondie(American rock band from mid 70s)
I know a girl from a lonely street
Cold as ice cream but still as sweet
Dry your eyes Sunday girl
Hey, I saw your guy with a different girl
Looks like he's in another world
Run and hide Sunday girl

Hurry up, hurry up and wait
I say awake all week and still I wait
I got the blues, please come see
What your loving means to me

She can't catch up with the working crowd
The weekend mood and she's feeling proud
Live in dreams Sunday girl

Baby, I would like to go out tonight
If I go with you my folks'll get uptight
Stay at home Sunday girl

Hey, I saw your guy with a different girl
Looks like he's in another world
Run and hide Sunday girl

When I saw you again in the summertime
If your love was as sweet as mine
I could be Sunday's girl

Hurry up, hurry up and wait
I say awake all week and still I wait
I got the blues, please come see
What your loving means to me
I got the blues

Have a great night!

Super Sweet Saturday with Summer Camp

My friend and I went to the gig at Centerpoint Entertainment in Sukhumvit105(Thailand) . It's SUPERSWEET Live! present Summer Camp by Sretsis. Just so you know. Sretsis is one of the most famous Thai designer brand and of course one of my favourite! Their style is whimsy and nostalgia with a modern touch. Sounds pretth cool right?!

Summer Camp poster specially designed by Sretsis

As you can see, the venue is quite small compared to other concert venues. I don't really mind since small gig usually make you feel more intimate with the artists which is really good! I've been to many small gigs and all of them left a good impression on me!

We were checking out some activities outside before went into the hall

There were plenty of activities including a tattoo painting where everyone can get a  temporary glitter or  tattoo on their body.

A staffs were selling an exclusive items from SUPERSWEET merch collection with Sretsis, items ranging from T-shirt, scarf, bracelets, bags, CD to poster and etc.

Ponnimit's live animation

Before summer camp take the stage, Wisut Ponnimit and Ikuko Harada were having the first official debut in Thailand for their special collaboration. They were performing the songs that they have composed for Ponnimit's silent live action. Ponnimit and Harada also performing a cover song 'Kaza Wo Atsumete' from Japanese rock band in 70s 'Happy End'. If you guys remember, this is a sound track of the movie 'Lost in Translation'.

Here they come Summer Camp!
During their performance, they displayed many dancing scene from 80's classic dance films like
Footloose, Dirty Dancing and more in the background.  I Love the fact that they are British, but they sing with American accent, as their music style is greatly influenced by 60's and 80'd music of vintage American society.

They were performing songs from their album 'Welcome to Condale'.  Sankey and Warmsley were letting it all out on the stage, while maintaining friendly conversation with the crowd that kept us all entertained and dancing the whole night!!  You can actually feel that they were really impressed with the Thai fans that they actually did a silent track for us!! It was one of the most memorable moment of the night!!  I remember they were walking down into the crowd playing acoustically without a microphone. Its just amazing!! Summer Camp did put on a great memorable show that captivated all!!!

Wish we would ever leave this summer camp!
The two outfits Shanky was wearing designed by Sretsis. They look really pretty on her!  I am jealous!!

  She's signing my T-shirt!!

I got the band T-shirt signed by the both Warmsley and Sankey <3
