"Please Make Yourself at Home" by Juli Baker and Summer

Please Make yourself at Home is the second solo exhibition of Juli Baker and Summer (Chanaradee Chatkul Na Ayutthaya) a collection of her colorful art which represents a series of her comfort zone. Pretty much everything that makes she feels at home with lovely music--A hard day's night by The Beatles, Suis-Moi by Camille, and Tire Swing by Kimya Dawson playing in the background.

ล่าสุดบีได้ไปชมนิทรรศการ Please Make yourself at Home (ทำตัวตามสบายเหมือนอยู่บ้าน) ของ Juli Baker and Summer หรือ ชนารดี ฉัตรกุล ณ อยุธยา ที่รวบรวมผลงานศิลปะหลากหลายรูปแบบตั้งแต่ภาพวาดไปจนถึงงานเฟอร์นิเจอร์สีสันสดใสและบ่งบอกถึงคอมฟอร์ตโซนของศิลปิน Juli Baker and Summer อะไรที่รู้สึกปลอดภัยสบายใจเหมือนอยู่กับบ้านและเพลงสากลเพราะๆ ช่วยสร้างบรรยากาศอย่าง A hard day's night ของ The Beatles, Suis-Moi ของ Camille และ Tire Swing ของ Kimya Dawson ที่เปิดคลอไปเรื่อยๆ เปลี่ยนมูดมืดครึ้มในวันฝนตกให้กลับมาสดใสทันทีที่ได้มอง ใครชอบศิลปะสีสันสดใสห้ามพลาด มาช่วยกันสนับสนุนศิลปินไทยกันดีกว่า!

 

ไม่มีอะไรมากก็แค่ทำตัวสบายๆ เหมือนอยู่ที่บ้าน

 

อะไรก็ไม่มีค่าถ้าคุณไม่มีความสุข

 

Lovely corner where you can just feel relax, watch TV, draw or write something and put it on the wall. เดินรอบๆครบ สุดท้ายก็มานั่งผ่อนคลายบนเบาะรองนั่งสีสันสดใส ดูทีวี ดูภาพวาดต่างๆ เพลินตาเพลินใจ แถมให้เรามีส่วนร่วมกับนิทรรศการนี้โดยการวาดภาพหรือขีดเขียนอะไรก็ได้ตามใจชอบแล้วเอาไปแปะบนผนัง สบายๆกันเองสุดๆ

 

Seeing vibrant colors always improved my mood

Erlend Oye & The Rainbows Live in Bangkok

Erlend Oye and The Rainbows Live in Bangkok on at The Jam Factory. The venue was lovely and cozy with a crowd of approximately 300 people. Erlend Oye got us all singing, jumping, waving our hands and dancing to rhythm. He even taught us some Italian words to sing along to his Italian song "Dico Ciao" and letting us listen to the Keyboard guy of The Rainbows singing a song in Icelandic. I personally don't know the song but Icelandic language sounds absolutely beautiful. It was really special. Erlend Oye and The Rainbows sure got us all entertained. Thank you for such a great show. Talking about Icelandic I just have to mention Sigur Ros a band from Icelandic. Their songs are awesome that you don't need to understand Icelandic to enjoy their music. It can easily pull you in. Anyhow, Sorry in advance for the photo quality. All the photos and video were taken with my iphone. I have to admitted that sometimes I get lazy to bring my proper camera since it's too heavy. I am sure you guys understand :)

I opted for crop top and teamed it up with my colorful vintage skirt, crossbody bag, and a pair Jeffrey Campbell shoes.
