Genting Highlands Travel Journal: Hotel on the Park | Sky Avenue | Burger & Lobster Resort World Genting

I've been in Malaysia since last Monday for Thai bloggers Fam-Trip sponsored by Resort Communications & PR Dept of Resorts World Genting. Therefore, I am going to share you my experiences in Genting Highland. The first 3 days we were staying at "Hotel on the Park" owned by Genting Group

We have received a warm welcome from the Resort World Team. They prepared welcome snacks and drinks for us at the lobby.

Fun and quirky decoration

What you should know about Hotel on the park

"Hotel on the Park" has recently opened after the renovation.

It's located within walking distance of Arena of Stars (concert venue), Sky Avenue (lifestyle mall), Sky Casino, and 20thCentury Fox Theme Park Malaysia that still under renovation and will be opened in mid 2018.  I am very excited and looking forward to visit 20th Century Fox Theme Park. For now I know they will feature different attractions and rides based on their popular films such as Alien vs Predator, Avatar, Ice Age, Life of Pi, Night at Museum, Planet of the Apes, and many more.

Playful decoration and cozy vibe suitable for a group of friends and Family

They have multi international socket and usb socket installed in all rooms. So there's no need to bring your travel adapter which is very convenient for travelers.

The only commend I have is that they should improve their wifi signal.

Quads rooms (260 sq ft) There are 2 queen-sized beds with separate Toilet and shower room. Facilities include TV, Fridge, Kettle, Hair dryer, Towels, Shampoo, Conditioner, Soap, Lotion, Toothbrush and Toothpaste. Room Rates: approximately 2,100 -4,100 THB per night. This is the room we were staying.

The room is clean and beds are big and comfy

The Sixers rooms (300 sq ft) for those who have bigger group of family and friends. There are 3 queen-sized beds with separate toilet and shower room. Facilities include TV, Fridge, Kettle, Hair dryer, Towels, Shampoo, Conditioner, Soap, Lotion, Toothbrush and Toothpaste. Room Rates: approximately 2,400 -4,500 THB Per night

After we checked in. They took us to Sky Avenue a lifestyle mall and a home to many famous local and international shops and restaurants.

This is what Sky Avenue looks like. It's huge and you can pretty much everything here.

We had dinner at Burger & Lobster Resort World Genting, Sky Avenue 1st floor.

Did you know that quality Lobsters always come first! All the Lobsters here have been imported from Canada and Boston. The staff treated all the lobsters properly and carefully. They clean them up and put them in the lobsters hotel downstairs.

Big boy or Huge lobster sells per kilo

They showing us this huge 3.7 Kg Lobster. He is now 37 years old. It costs about11,000 Baht.

I've been to Burger and Lobster in London once. What they serve there and here at Burger and Lobster Resort World Genting taste exactly the same. So Lobster fans will not be disappointed. We strategically ordered almost everything in the menu to share. Therefore, we've eaten pretty much everything and I personally love it a lot as I love eating fresh Seafood. It's the perfect place for Lobster lovers!

Chili Lobster taste is sweet, sour, and a little spicy (similar to Chili Crab).
It's one of my favorite dish. I would definitely recommend you to try this Chili lobster as it only available in Genting.

Lobster Roll will always be my favorite menu!

Grilled Lobster is really nice too!

 Burger

One of their signature drink Grapefruit Soda. I love that it sours and smells nice

The presentation of Ice lemon tea is pretty cool!

Listen up all you sweet tooth! If you visit Sky Avenue. Make sure to explore the food & dessert area on the 1st floor.

Harajuku Melting Cheese Tart is number 1 cheese tart in Malaysia. So I guess there are many branches here in Malaysia. This one is in Sky Avenue Genting. The Cheese Tart comes in 3 flavors; Original, Matcha, and Hazelnut. I've tried them all and I could only say that they are one of the best cheese tart ever. Half baked cheese is melting from the inside and has rich flavour, not too sweet. Tart is thick and cripsy. Just how I like it to be. TOKYO SECRET  also serve super tasty Cheese drinks called CREMA. Again I've tried and love it! It's very fattening but their tarts and drinks are too good to resist. Highly recommended!

For Tea or Milk tea lovers. I would like to recommend you to GONG CHA a quality tea beverage brand from Taiwan. It offers a wide variety types of premium tea. You can customize your own drinks. Choose to add more toppings, reduce or add more Ice and Sweet.
