Genting Highlands Food Journal: Malaysia Food Street | Motorino

We ate so many delicious local and western dishes during our Blogger FAM-Trip in Genting. Thanks to Resort Communications & PR Department of Resort World Genting!
Malaysian Food Street and Motorino are another great restaurants we have tried.  
Malaysian Food Street serves local favorite dishes.  
Location: Sky Avenue 4th floor
Operating Hours: Monday to Thursday10.00 a.m. – 10.00 p.m.
Friday to Saturday: 10.00 a.m. – 12.00 a.m. 
This is more like a food court that serve Malaysian food and desserts.
My all time favorite would be Nasi Lemak with Sambal chili paste

Chendol is similar to Lod Chong Singapore (Thai dessert). It smells nice, really yummy, and refreshing!
Just have to give credit to my fellow blogger Nightphoomin who have tried and love Chendol so much.

Texture of the Neapolitan Pizza is soft and chewy. Not really crispy like others pizza I've tried.

Genting Highlands Travel Journal: SeNikome Peng Heng | Maxims Hotel | Chin Swee Caves Temple | Treks Fashion Forest


 SeniKome Peng Heng or East Coast Arts & Cultural Centre
The SeniKome Péng Hēng meaning "Our Art". Promoting and showcasing art and culture of 3 east coast states of Malaysia including Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan. Perfect spot for art & culture enthusiasts to experience the beauty of Malaysia's local craft, fashion, games, food and music through video projection or participate in their traditional games such as congkak, batu seremban, hopscotch, and more. You can also stop by the East Coast art & souvenirs and get some local gifts for your friends and family like art piece, pewters, and textiles.

Fancy traditional food? You can try their traditional dishes like the Nasi Lemak, Mee Siam, dry fried fish, desserts, and drinks. What I love most is "Sambal". This chili paste really complements every dish.


Our next stop is First World Hotel. It's the world's largest hotel and offers different room types to suit all your needs. Average rate per room night is around 67 MYR. Besides, First World Hotel is accessible to everything. Its central location allows you to walk to various highlights, including Sky Avenue, Arena of Stars,  Genting International Convention Center, and 20th Century Fox Theme Park that will be opened in mid 2018.

Genting's most luxurious hotel "Maxims". It provides world-class services, from a wide variety of dining choices to entertainment venues. Average rate per room night is 888 MYR.


Eighteen inspired cuisine on the 18th floor of Maxims. Wide variety of choices on the menu from talented team of chefs and beautiful botanical-themed make it a great location for fine dining experience. They also serve high tea from3 p.m. 5.30 p.m.148 RYM per 2 persons.


You can enjoy the spectacular view of the Resort World Genting while dining at Eighteen inspired cuisine.

This huge luxury suites is the ultimate level in luxury accommodation equipped with modern luxury bedrooms, bath room with stunning view of Genting Highlands, living room, kitchen and dining area. 
 

After we finished hotel touring, we hopped on Gandola (Cable car) and heading to Chin Swee Temple. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see the beautiful scenery of mountains and trees on the Gandola as it was too foggy and raining.

The Awana SkyWay opens daily from 7.00 a.m. to 12. 00 a.m.
Standard Gondola tickets are 8 RMY per person 
 
 
These Gondolas fly over various highlights of Genting Highlands, giving us the bird's eye view of the beautiful surroundings.

Our last stop of the day is "Treks Fashion Forest" 
It is located between 3,000 and 6,000 feet above sea level.
Their mission is to help raise awareness and promote nature conservation. Also, bring people closer to nature in the most fashionable way.   

What to do in this Fashion Forest?
Fashion Forest provides any kinds of activities and events for people of all ages. It's a great place for all nature lovers, whether you want to spend time out of the the busy schedule or action activity that encourage team bonding for people in the organization. Anything can be arranged. 


 
Fashion Forest Highlights  
 It is the world's 1st WiFi Rainforest. Good news for social savvy, you are able to chat with you friends through apps, live steam, post picture on instagram and facebook, while you are in the Forest.
They bring human, nature and technology together. They have developed the scan barcode program which allow you to use your cell phone to scan the barcode to discover and learn more about the natural features in this fashion forest.
