Japan Unesco World Heritage "Shirakawa-go

Paranomic view from the observatory desk.
This is a throwback post of my Japan traditional trip in Autumn last year. My twins sister and I were traveling through many cities including Shirakawago, Takayama, Kyoto, Osaka, and Tokyo. Initaially, I was going to blog about this right after I came back from the trip but then the pictures are all gone from my computer due to the virus. However, I had recently manged to retrived them back! Looking through all the pictures we have taken during this long trip. I've to say there're so many beautiful pictures that worth sharing and travel is never too late yeah?!

We bought a one day trip tour from Takayama to Shirakawa-go from www.isitetakayama.com. The bus departing twice daily from the bus station which located infront of Takayama train station. The duraiton of 1 day trip is about 4 hours. The tour bus took us to observatory desk where everyone can enjoy a breathtaking paranomic view of the village. Unfortunately, it was raining when we arrived the village. As you can see the sky wasn't as clear as we expected and definitely not the ideal weather for any travellers, but we still had a real great time exploring around this charming village. Shirakawa-go is like a breath of fresh air. It was listed as Unesco World heritage. We were really enjoy seeing this historic traditional farmhouse in a Gassho style of rural of Japanese village surrounded by beautiful nature. If I can come back again. I would love to spend a night in a well preserved farmhouse and just experience the ancient Japanese culture and traditions.

Spent a little time in this lovely vintage style "If coffee shop" in Takayama before leaving to Shirakawa-go
