90's Teen Spirit

  

I was wearing this attire to the theme park on my last holiday in Singapore. I styled this neon yellow tank top with olive green pencil skirt and wore leopard jacket around my waist. Also, these super comfortable cute printed Keds sneakers were perfect to finish off the outdoor vibrant look!

This outfit somehow reminds me of the old days in the 90s where all the teens tying shirt or jacket around their waist. I remember I used to do this with my school uniform when I was in primary school, until one of my school teacher said I look pretty silly and dump! Seriously, those mean words hurt my feelings! :(
However, I thought it was kindda cool back then!! And I still secretly like it...a lot! You know how much I love layering clothes!

 Anyway, tie a jacket around the waist is another layering method that make my usual outfit more fun, interesting, and most of all handy and practical! Since I can always put it on if it gets chilly or cover myself up to protect my skins when the sun is too strong.

Mismatched Prints Colour Clash

 

I would like to create a daily look that will keep me looking chic and sharp from a day in the office to night out on the town with friends without changing a thing. I am a big fan of floral print outfit especially in the summer time! floral print outfits can make you feel fresh!

 I wore this Topshop floral wrap top as the main piece (it's actually a dress but I wore it as a top for this particular look...Iove how this floral print piece can be worn in many different ways!) I applied the basic colour wheel concept opting this orange wrap skirt with printed shawdow leaves from Zara, the opposite colour of dark blue on the colour wheel. The skirt was a bit loose, so I paired it up with a gold buckle belt to accentuate my waist and then a matchy-matchy ring and bangle. A black tassel clutch with gold detail and a pair of Dr. Martens leopard clogs finished off this office and playtime appropriate attire!

บีไสตล์ชุดนี้โดยมีไอเดียว่าอยากหาเสื้อผ้าที่สามารถใส่แล้วดูดีเหมาะสมทั้งเวลาอยู่ในออฟฟิซและไปสรรสังกับเพื่อนหลังเลิกงาน โดยที่ไม่ต้องถอดหรือใส่อะไรเพิ่ม เป็นอันว่าหมดภาระในการนำเสื้อผ้ามาเปลี่ยน อย่างที่เห็นกันในรูป บีเลือกเสื้อผ้าที่เป็นลายดอกอีกแล้ว! เนื่องจากช่วงนี้เป็นช่วงที่ร้อนที่สุด ทำให้อยากใส่อะไรที่ดูแล้วมีสีสันสดใส ดูแล้วสดชื่น เหมาะกับช่วงฤดูร้อน

 บีก็เลยหยิบเจ้าเสื้อลายดอกของ Topshop ( ตัวนี้มาใส่ จริงๆแล้วเสื้อที่เห็นนี้เป็นชุดเดรสนะค่ะ แต่ว่าบีเอามาใส่เป็นเสื้อเพื่อให้เข้ากับลุค Day-to-Night นี้ ต้องขอบอกว่าชอบเจ้าเดรสลายดอกตัวนี้มากถึงแม้จะมีลวดลายไปทั้งตัว แต่ก็นำไปใส่เข้ากับเสื้อผ้าตัวอื่นๆ ได้อีกหลายชิ้นเลยทีเดียว!) แล้วก็เพิ่มลูกเล่นเก๋ๆให้กับลุคนี้โดยการใช้ทฤษฎีสีที่เคยเรียนมาสมัยเด็กๆ โดยการเลือกใส่กระโปรงสีส้มลายเงาใบไม้ของ Zara ซึ่งเป็นสีทีอยู่ตรงข้ามกับสีน้ำเงินบนวงล้อสี ซึ่งเป็นสองสีที่มีความแตกต่างกันโดยสิ้นเชิงแต่ก็พอมาอยู่ด้วยกันก็เข้ากันเป็นอย่างดี  กระโปรงตัวนี้หลวมไปนิดนึงก็เลยเอาเข็มขัดที่ดูเข้ากับชุดมาขาดเพื่อเน้นให้ช่วงเอวดูมีส่วนโค้งเว้ามากขึ้น แล้วก็เลือกใส่เครื่องประดับอย่าง แหวน กับ กำไลข้อมือที่เป็นสีเข้ากับเสื้อและกระโปรง ปิดท้ายด้วยกระเป๋าคลัชท์สีดำประดับพู่และร้องเท้าลายเสือของ Dr. Martens ก็เป็นอันเสร็จสมสมบูรณ์แบบสำหรับลุคที่เหมาะทั้งใส่ไปทำงานและไนท์เอ้าท์กับเพื่อน
