Korea Trip Day 1: Earthy Normadic

The weather was cold on the first day, since I spent the whole day in Nami Island and Seoraksan National Park. I find myself so into earthy tones when it comes to winter outfit. This time I layered tribal printed leather Jacket and other earthy tone pieces, giving myself enough layers in a cold weather. Jewelry is not necessary with these many layers, colors, patterns and prints.

Truly fun railbiking experience. It was a breath of fresh air, a good way to explore the nature and really great way to exercise!

 Nami Island is beautiful and different throughout all 4 seasons. It is a perfect enchanting place for relaxation, a day trip with your family, friends, boyfriend or girlfriend. This was actually my 3rd visits and it feels different each time. What I love most is walking around looking at beautiful scenery, big trees, lovely statues, arts and exhibition. There are also many activities like bicycle, resort for visitors who desire to stay overnight.

 Visited Teddy Bear Museum near Seoraksan.

Cold Winter

This is my first day outfit when I was on a holiday in Korea last Sunday. The weather there was extremely cold -17 Degree Celsius! Can you imagine? Yes, it was freezing! but that does not discourage me from dressing up. In fact, I had lots of fun packing and putting together multiple layers of clothing for this winter trip. There will be  2 more winter looks coming up tomorrow and the day after. Have a nice day!

วันนี้มาโพสรูปชุดเหมือนที่ทำอยู่เป็นประจำ แต่คราวนี้เป็นชุดที่บีใส่ไปเที่ยวเกาหลีเมื่ออาทิตย์ที่แล้วค่ะ ต้องบอกก่อนว่าที่เกาหลีหนาวมากติดลบถึง 17 องศา เรียกว่าส่วนไหนที่ไม่มีเสื้อผ้าปกปิดมันชาไปหมด! แต่ก็น่ะเราเตรียมตัวมาดีพอควรแหละเพราะเคยเจออากาศหนาวๆ แบบนี้ที่อังกฤษมาแล้ว เลยรู้ว่าต้องใส่เสื้อผ้าหลายชั้น เพราะฉะนั้นอากาศหนาวไม่ได้ทำให้บีแต่งตัวน้อยลงเลยฮ่าๆ แถมตอนจัดกระเป๋าก็สนุกสุดๆ หยิบเอาเสื้อผ้าหลายชิ้นมานั่งมิกซ์แอนด์แมชท์เตรียมรับมือกับอากาศหนาวเต็มที่! บียังเหลือลุคหนาวๆ แบบนี้อีก 2 ลุค รอติดตามกันคราวหน้านะค่ะ :)

Layering: Tartan on Tartan

Now that I am back from a trip to Macau. It is time for me to post my latest look of the day! This outfit is what I was wearing on my first day in Macau. Temperature in Macau is lower than Thailand. So, I get to utilize my layering skills. After all, layering is all about mixing pattern and textures. The key is to keep us comfy and warm while looking pleasant. I was layering 2 not too thick tartan shirts in different fabric and colour, navy blue on top of the red tartan shirt, and tucking in the red shirt into a skirt. Just to ensure that my outfits will keep me warm all day and night long, I was opting for a blazer (I can take off the outer layer when the temperature rises) with this most comfy Aldo lace up boots that I can walk in them all day without hurting my feet.

• Thicker or heavier piece as an outer layer and thinner or lighter piece as an inner layer.
• Alter the texture of the fabric everytime you add a piece of clothing (ex: Cotton with denim and tweed)
• Play with different length of fabric
