Fashion Trend: the 85th Academy Award Red Carpet

Hollywood actresses shone in stunning soft pale hues and shimmery embroidered gowns on the 85th Academy Award Red Carpet.  

Stars including Anne Hathaway, Jenifer Lawrence, Charlize Theron, and Zoe Saldana were wearing a classic pastel pale toned gowns

 

Anne Hathaway arrived in blush pink halter neck column gown with a ribbon at the back from Prada 

 

Jennifer Lawrence looked jaw-dropping in ivory structured Dior Haute Couture

 

Charlize Theron wowed in white peplum Dior Haute Couture  

 

Zoe Saldana opted for Alexis Mabille

Similarly, Amy Adams, Kristen Stewart, and Amanda Syfried turned up in soft pale gowns, but with sparkle embellished detailing.

Another big trend on the red carpet was very shimmery embroidered gowns which we have seen on Adele, Jennifer Hudson, Naomi Watts, Stacy Keibler, Halle Berry, Nicole Kidmad, Jessica Chastain, and Catherine Zeta Jones.

While most of the stars went for not so colourful tones, some bold hues stood out on the red carpet.

Kerry Washington looked incredibly beautiful in miu miu coral number with a shimmery bodice. This was absolutely one of the best dress of the night alongside Amy Adams (Oscar De La Renta), Naomi Watts (Giorgio Armani), Anne Hathaway (Prada), Amanda Syfried (Alexander McQueen), and J. Law (Dior Haute Couture)

Big stars like J. Law and Anne Hathaway proved that the way they wear accessories can make a unique style statement! J. law was seen wearing a long Chopard diamond necklace backwards.

  I really love how she made it look very old Hollywood kind of way!!  Anne Hathaway who was also spotted wearing similar trend. She draped for a shorter but bolder Tiffany & Co necklace, which was equally elegant!

Both Oscar winners made a similar style statement on the red carpet, opting for pale gowns with backwards necklace.
