Cheers to Summer

Chilly days in Thailand has officially gone. It's time to embrace the next chapter of weather which is "summer". I always have a mixed feelings about summer. Hot weather means I have lesser chance to wear layered clothes or playing with different textures which are something that I really enjoyed. On the other hand, summer allows me to be a little more "effortless" and have fun with various choices of one piece garments like a dress, jumpsuit, and romper. These garment don't require much effort. I recently discovered this very cute and relaxed DVF Wrap Romper from its latest resort 2014 collection. The silhouette is so effortless, super comfortable, and flattering. The print is colorful with a bit of retro vibe. So there's no need for jewelries to spice things up since this printed romper is already a bold statement piece in itself and sure to be anybody's summer favorite. Being effortless is quite fun! DVF (Thailand) Journey of A Dress & Bohemian Wrapsody Fall 2014

 Hi guys! Today, I will be writing about my recent work that my little team and I put our heart and soul into it! It's been long and bumpy journey for our DVF Thailand team. We have been preparing for this big event for over 3 months and literally planning on this since January, but then there was a political crisis in Bangkok which affected every businesses. Hence, we ended up changing the date of the event to 25 September 2014. We're all really excited to get it all started, knowing that we haven't had a large-scale event since DVF store opening in Thailand about 2-3 years back. Therefore, we did anything we could to make sure that every single details of  DVF (Thailand) 40th anniversary of the wrap dress exhibition are executed perfectly. In the end, We were so  glad that everything went so well and beyond happy to hear all the overwhelming feedback from press, partners, and customers. A special thank you to my team, P'meow Tarida who came all the way from DVF New York to help us, P' Tob Chunsri and her event organizer team, P'Bevo (PR), our partner CDS team, and those who helped make this event happen! My Wrap Story

Diane von Furstenberg once said she created her first wrap dress when she was 26 in 1974. The wrap dress was a major breakthrough in her life. It enables her to become the woman she wanted to be. Diane is one of the most powerful woman in fashion industry and a big inspiration to women everywhere including me. I was truly inspired by her extraordinary life and have a great admiration for her accomplishments, how she's know what she wants, not afraid to live her dream and take a big leap to become a successful fashion designer and continue to empower all women through her work. Her attitude and designs were the main reasons I decided to apply for a job at DVF (Thailand). I am proud to be part of DVF team and feel so grateful to be able to work closely with this epic fashion brand with so many inspirational stories to tell the world. What more can I say...I love my job! 

This is such a big year for DVF!
