Summer in London Chapter II : Day trip to Cotswolds - Downton Abbey Village - Blenheim Palace


We took a day tour from London to the charming Cotswold, Downton Abbey Village, and Blenheim Palace with Evan Evans Tour.


Bourton on the Water
A popular British village and tourist spot in Gloucestershire, United Kingdom. It was also known as "Little Venice" of the Cotswolds.


Cotswolds 
It situated in the south of Central England and was said to be the most beautiful British Village. Sadly, this is the only picture of Cotswolds that I have in my iphone. The rest pictures I took with my Lumix camera have gone missing. Still, I have to say Cotswolds is super lovely. It looks like an old village from the fairy tale. 


Downton Abbey Village & St. Mary's Bampton 
the church and its surrounding areas have featured many times in the hit British TV series "Downton Abbey"

Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, Oxfordshire
It was built by the nation to honour John Churchill, the first duke of Marlborough. The palace is a masterpiece of English baroque architecture designed by English architect Sir John Vanbrugh.
Operating Hours: Monday to Sunday 9 AM - 6 PM
Entrance fee (access to palace, park & gardens): Adults 24.90 GBP
