Singapore Laneway Festival 2017

This is the recap of my memory about St. Jerome's Laneway Festival 2017 in Singapore and information for festival goers!

Nice mix of international acts such as Glass Animals Indie rock band from Oxford known for its quirky sound, Nick Murphy (Chet Faker) Australian multi-instrumentalist, singer, song writer, and producer, Tourist (William Phillips) Grammy award winner for song of the year for co-written "Stay with me" by Sam Smith producer and song writer, Tycho American ambient electronic band, Whitney indie rock band from Chicago, and more.

Great outdoor venue The event located at the Meadow, Gardens by the bay. It is quite small and cozy compare to other music festivals. The best thing is Garden Stage and Bay stage located next to each other, so you can easily switch stages as you please. Unlike other music festival where there're many stages and your have to spare sometimes to walk from one stage to another and end up didn't get to watch full performance of your favorite acts! I consider that the most disappointing thing that could ever happen to festival goers! 

All live acts have great visual accompaniment 

Weather sucks! Rain Coat is a Must! It rained continuously from late afternoon until late evening. 

Food & Drinks are available inside the venue.

Suggested Laneway Outfit light and flowy pieces with a touch of boho accessories to keep you comfy and chic all day long.

Taxi is the most convenient transportation from city center Take a taxi to Gardens by the bay then walk 7-10 mins to The Meadow. It's very easy as you will see the signs along the way leading you to the venue. Not sure about the direction? You can go to staff at the reception near taxi drop-off and pick-up.

For those who might be interested in attending the event next year, here's my Singapore Laneway Festival 2017 Budget break down (2 day 1 night) :

Tiger air round trip Bangkok-Singapore & Singapore - Bangkok: 4,221 THB

Amara Hotel: Approximately 2,000 THB per person 1 night

St. Jerome's Laneway ticket: 4,782 THB or 185 SG Dollar. 

Transportation from airport to city center & city center to airport: 500 THB per person

Suggested Pocket Money 4,000 - 5,000 THB 

Total Budget: 15,000 -16,000 THB

Songkran holiday part2

Hey guys, this post is the second half of my Songkran Holiday!!

We're arriving Singapore in the afternoon. We then dropped our luggage at the hotel and off to Singapore flyer which is very similar to London Eye. We had dinner at the famous Boon Tong Kee restaurant. At night, we went out exploring nightlife in Clarke Quay.

I have to say that I was so in love with tasty food in Malaysia<3<3 Sadly, I hardly  find nice food in Singapore :( No offense!! At least we knew 1 very nice restaurant ''Boon Tong Kee''.  Boon Tong Kee is a MUST try restaurant for everyone who travel to Singapore.I heard many people say they do the best Hainanese chicken rice!! So we gave it a try and it didn't disappoint us.  Every dishes we ordered are yummy ;P

ต้องขอบอกเลยว่าบีรักอาหารมาเลมากกกก เสียใจที่ไม่ค่อยมีอาหารอร่อยๆในสิงคโปร์
แต่อย่างน้อยก็ได้กินข้าวมันไก่สิงคโปร์ร้านดังละ :P ก็ถือว่าอร่อยใช้ได้เลยนะคะ

The second day in Singapore. We spent most of our time in Universal Studio. It was a great fun. Also, we went exploring and taking pictures in other parts of Sentosa.

These are some cool pictures from Song of the Sea at Siloso Beach (Sentosa)

I have a love/hate feeling towards Song of the Sea. What I hate about the show was the storyline. It's pretty lame and boring  that I fell asleep Zzzz. The great part was the spectacular effects, those laser blading, lighting, and water splashing were truely impressive! The stage was also interesting as it was on the sea. I would have like song of the sea, if I haven't seen the Magic Fountain in Barcelona. It's a fountain with lighting and music. Very pretty and classy <3

วันที่สองในสิงคโปร์ บีอยู่แต่ใน Universal Studio ค่ะ กับ Sentosa บีได้ดู Song of the Sea ด้วย บีชอบแสงไฟกับน้ำพุนะ สวยมากๆเลย แต่เนื้อเรื่องน่าเบื่อและชวนหลับมาก :( บีคงปลื้ม Song of the Sea มากถ้าบีไม่เคยดู Magic Fountain ที่ Barcelona ซะก่อน ของที่นั่นคลาสสิก แสงสวยแล้วก็เพลงดีมากๆค่ะ พอการแสดงจบ ทุกคนรีบกลับโรงแรมเปลี่ยนเสื้อผ้าแล้วก็ไป Marina Bay Sand ทันทีเลย กลัวจะเที่ยวไม่ครบ :P

After we have done watching Song of the Sea. We're rushing to our hotel, changing outfits and went out to Marina Bay sand.  We just want to get the most out of our trip in Signapore ;P

On the last day, we went to take a picture with the famous Merlion, and walking around Orchard road shopping. We ended up buying loads of Royce chocolate fromTakashimaya. All together 6 boxes of milk, white, and green tea chocolate and 10 boxes of chocolate potato chips! Happy :)

วันสุดท้ายของสิงคโปร์ ที่ขาดไม่ได้ ถ้าไม่ได้มาดูจะถือว่ามาไม่ถึงสิงคโปร์ :P Merlion นั่นเอง ต่อด้วยช้อปปิ้งที่ถนน Orchard แล้วก็จบด้วยการหิ้วช็อคโกแลต Royce ของโปรดอีกมากมาย :)

As you can see from the pictures above, I hope you wouldn't mind that I kept wearing the same shoes. It's inconvenient to bring many pairs of shoes on a trip since they could be heavy and bulky. So I decided to pack only 2 pairs of shoes that are very comfy and versatile. One is the white flat shoes I borrowed from my sister. Another one is my light gray shoes from Topshop.

What do you think about my holiday outfits? As for me I love them a lot :)
