Gaysorn's The Sanctuary of Thai Designers

It's the press conference of grand opening of The Sanctury of Thai designers zone at Gaysorn Plaza. I've to admitted that I was running late for the event, so I missed a chance see the show from Talented Thai fashion designers such as Poem, Klar lov, MUSE by good mixer, TAWN C, PICHITA, The collage, and many more.  By the way, sorry for the poor quality photos. I literally left my camera in the car ;P

Prior the press conference day, I've received email from Gaysorn Plaza team inviting me as a bloggers to take part of the Sanctuary of Thai designers project and giving me an opportunity to participate in the behind the scene photo shoot of Thai fashion designer brand "Poem BANGKOK" with his celebrity Muse Khun Opal at Benedict studio.

Also, I've got a chance to wear Khun Sean Poem designs during the photo shoot with Khun Sean Poem himself. This was part of Gaysorn's Sanctuary of Thai designers press conference that has been held last week.

Louis Vuitton Thailand Preview Collection Spring/Summer 2013

The inspiration of LOUIS VUITTON Spring/Summer 2013 collection came from the high contrast black and white striped columns in the Palais Royal created by French artist Daniel Buren.
Black and white striped columns in the Palais Royal

LV's signature Damier checkered prints and the 60s inspired silhouettes dominated the entire ss2013 collection. You can see that the classic Damier print has been enlarge and shrink onto most of the clothes with the combination of bright yellow and white, black and white, gray and white.  Also, accessories like bags and shoes were seen in checkered patterns. Other than eye catching checkered prints, Marc Jacobs added some black glitter pieces and abstract floral shadow pattern into this collection.

Attending the private preview collection was awesome! I got to see these masterpieces up close...what more can I ask for?! LV ss2013 collection is simply chic and fashion-forward. I think Marc Jacobs did a brilliant job creating many beautiful pieces that women of all ages can easily wear in everyday life!

Here are some photos of the private preview collection :)
