Louis Vuitton Thailand Preview Collection Spring/Summer 2013

The inspiration of LOUIS VUITTON Spring/Summer 2013 collection came from the high contrast black and white striped columns in the Palais Royal created by French artist Daniel Buren.

 LV's signature Damier checkered prints and the 60s inspired silhouettes dominated the entire ss2013 collection. You can see that the classic Damier print has been enlarge and shrink onto most of the clothes with the combination of bright yellow and white, black and white, gray and white.  Also, accessories like bags and shoes were seen in checkered patterns. Other than eye catching checkered prints, Marc Jacobs added some black glitter pieces and abstract floral shadow pattern into this collection. 

 Attending the private preview collection was awesome! I got to see these masterpieces up close...what more can I ask for?! LV ss2013 collection is simply chic and fashion-forward. I think Marc Jacobs did a brilliant job creating many beautiful pieces that women of all ages can easily wear in everyday life!

Hypnotized

The Hypnotized trend inspired by many different graphic patterns in black and white, for example, stripes, checked, hounds-tooth, and more. This trend has proved to be one of the hottest trend as we have seen in Louis Vuitton, Balmain, Oscar De La Renta, Moschino, and many other top designers spring/summer 2013 collections. Graphic black and white is definitely one of the most versatile pieces in everyone's wardrobe since they never go out of fashion!

ฮิปโนไทซ์ดเป็นถือว่าเป็นเทรนด์ที่มาแรงสุดๆ ในช่วงสปริง/ซัมมเมอร์ 2013 นี้ ซึ่งมีแรงบันดาลใจมาจากลวดลายกราฟฟิกเน้นใช้สีขาวและสีดำเป็นหลัก อาทิ ลายทาง ลายหมากรุก ลายฟันสุนัข และ ลายอื่นๆ เทรนด์กราฟฟิกนี้มีให้เห็นกันตามคอลเลคชั่น สปริง/ซัมมเมอร์ 2013 ของเหล่าดีไซเนอร์ชั้นนำ เช่น  Louis Vuitton, Balmain, Oscar De La Renta, Moschino  และดีไซเนอร์อื่นๆ อีกมากมาย นอกจากเสื้อผ้ากราฟฟิกขาวดำจะเป็นเทรนด์ที่น่าจับตามองมากที่สุดในซีซั่นนี้ มันยังเป็นไอเทมที่ใส่ง่ายแถมยังสามารถนำมามิกซ์แอนด์แมชท์ได้หลากหลายสไตล์ แบบไม่มีตกเทรนด์!

  

Recently, Central world plaza has recently held THE HYPNOTIZED exclusive fashion preview collection spring/summer 2013 featuring clothes from multiple fashion brands available at Central World Plaza.The theme was stripe or hypnotized. As you can see I showed up at the event wearing all black and white stripes

เมื่อวันอังคารที่ผ่านมา เซ็นทรัลพัฒนากรุ๊ป ได้จัดงานแฟชั่นโชว์ "เดอะฮิปโนไทซ์ด" เอ็กคลูซีฟพรีวิวคอลเลคชั่นสปริง/ซัมมเมอร์ 2013 โดยรวบรวมเอาเสื้อผ้าเครื่องประดับจากหลายแฟชั่นแบรด์ซึ่งมีหน้าร้านอยู่ที่ เซ็นทรัลเวิลพลาซ่า มาผสมผสานนำเสนอออกมาตรงตามเทรนด์สุดฮิปของซีซั่นนี้

คอนเซ็ปต์ของงานนี้ก็คือ ลายทาง หรือ ฮิปโนไทซ์ด และอย่างที่เห็นในรูปบีก็แบบว่าจัดลายทางไปทั้งตัวเลยทีเดียว ;P

Sirimon Na Nagara (Post International Media managing director) announced at the press conference that Elle fashion week will be held twice this year to boost the exposure of talented Thai designers. 

คุณ สิริมน ณ นคร (กรรมการผู้จัดการสายนิตยสาร บริษัท โพสต์ อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล มีเดีย จำกัด)
ได้ประกาศ ณ งานแถลงข่าวว่า แฟชั่นวีคของเมืองไทยจะมีเพิ่มขึ้นเป็น 2 ครั้ง ทั้งสปริง/ซัมเมอร์ ที่กำลังจะจัดขึ้นเร็วๆนี้ และ ออทั่ม/วินเทอร์ ซึ่งมีขึ้นอยู่เป็นประจำ ทั้งนี้เพื่อส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนเหล่าดีไซเนอร์ไทยมากความสามารถ

This fashion event will surely help our local designers to increase both local and global recognition in fashion industry, as there will be several international press and buyers from world’s leading fashion retailers like Elle Japan, Marie Claire Korea, WWD Japan, and H Lorenzo, Liberty UK, Selfridges, Barney’s New York, and Galleries Lafayette attending this coming fashion week in Bangkok!

For the first time, fashion shows will be held at 3 different Bangkok hotspots (Scala Theater, Lumpini Hall at Lumpini Park, and W hotel Bangkok) according to the theme “Bangkok is Your Runway”, starting March 13-16, 2013. Elle fashion week spring/summer 2013 will be showcasing 10 collections from 10 local designers including Greyhound, Something Boudoir, Issue, Asava, Senada, Curated by Ek Thongprasert, Kloset, Tu'i, Munchu's and Vickteerut.

เพื่อความสอดคล้องกับคอนเซ็ปต์ของงาน “Bangkok is Your Runway” จะเป็นครั้งแรกที่แฟชั่นโชว์จะถูกจัดขึ้น ณ 3 สถานที่สำคัญของกรุงเทพฯ (โรงหนังสกาล่า ลุมพินีฮอลล์ โรงแรมW กรุงเทพฯ)  แอลแฟชั่นวีค สปริง/ซัมเมอร์ จะเริ่มโชว์ในวันที่ 13-16 มีนาคม 2013 กับ 10 คอลเลคชั่นจาก 10 ดีไซเนอร์ชั้นนำได้แก่ Greyhound, Something Boudoir, Issue, Asava, Senada, Curated by Ek Thongprasert, Kloset, Tu'i, Munchu's และ Vickteerut.  เหล่าดีไซเนอร์ทิ้งท้ายไว้ว่าแต่ละคนต่างก็หงัดทีเด็ดทุกอย่างออกมาโชว์รับรองว่าไม่ผิดหวังแน่นอน!

You don’t have to go all the way to UK to attend London Fashion Week. As I am bringing you the fashion show...VIDEO from one of the most distinctive fashion designers ''Mary Katrantzou''. Her latest eccentric spring summer 2013 collection was showcased on last Sunday night. The collection built around eye popping digital prints of vintage stamps and bank notes. The bold graphics print of postage stamp outfits were showed in green, blue, white, with a dash of orange and yellow with extremely black outline, while combining airy green, blue, pink, and yellow on the shimmering bank notes pattern. If you are ready sit back and enjoy the show! 

คุณไม่ต้องลำบากเดินทางไปถึงประเทศอังกฤษเพื่อไปชมลอนดอนแฟชั่นวีค เพราะวันนี้บีได้นำวีดีโอ หนึ่งในแฟชั่นโชว์จากลอนดอนแฟชั่นวีคที่เพิ่งเริ่มไปหมาดๆ เมื่อต้นสัปดาห์ มาให้ดูกันค่ะ เรียกว่าเป็นแบรนด์ที่บีชอบมากๆ เพราะไม่ว่าคอลเลคชั่นไหนก็ทำออกมาได้โดดเด่นถ่ายทอดเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะของดีไซเนอร์ออกมาได้เป็นอย่างดี แบรนด์ที่ว่าก็คือ Mary Katrantzou ดีไซเนอร์สาวชาวกรีกที่ทำลายดิจิตอลปริ้นท์บนผืนผ้าได้โดดเด่นไม่เหมือนใคร ซึ่งคอลเลคชั่นล่าสุดนี้เธอได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจากสแตมป์และธนบัตรเก่า แถมได้คิดค้นทดลองเทคนิคการทำลายปริ้นท์บนลูกแก้ว ที่แมรี่และทีมนำมาใช้ในคอลเลคชั่นนี้อีกด้วย ถ้าพร้อมแล้วก็ไปชมกันได้เลย!
