Spotted: Sala Rattanagosin Restaurant

If you've been following this blog, you would know that I've featured many cool places I've been to like a restaurants, cafes, bars, parties, concerts and so on. Thus, I'll be introducing, reviewing and posting photos of these awesome places under the topic  "Spotted".

Sala Rattanakosin restaurant and bar is located opposite Wat Arun and next to Chao Praya river. Most people often dine here in the evening for a more romantic and spectacular view of Bangkok Historic sties. Usually packed. If you are planning to dine at Sala Rattanakosin at night, you must call to reserve the table! Warning! It usually packed with tourists and local people who love to visit trendy places. The decoration has a Thai modern yet minimalist style with a mixed of bricks, polish concrete, and wooden.
Authentic Thai dishes generally have strong flavor. You know how much I love spicy and savory food! The food here was a little too mild for my taste. Almost every dishes have been toned down and adjusted to foreigner tastes. However, they did a really very great desserts. It was overall another great restaurant and bar everyone should give it a try!

Wine counter bar. They feature wide variety of cocktails, wines, champagnes, and beers.

A complimentary dish. Prawn and rice crackers served with chili paste and peanut sauce. The sauces are very special! Must Try!
Thai spicy duck salad. It was too mild for me. I wish it could be spicier and a strong savory flavor.
Thai style spicy seafood salad!
Spring roll was one of my favorite dish!
Chicken with papaya salad and sticky rice
Mango with sticky rice
Chocolate mousse cake with sea salted caramel

The design sees traces of the original building (think unfinished brick walls) accompanied by a minimal blackand- white theme. If you’re lucky enough to drop by when the weather is cool (and dry), grab a spot on the spacious deck or get more comfy and enjoy the better view of Wat Arun from the air-con second floor. There’s also a rooftop bar up on the 5/F - See more at: http://bk.asia-city.com/restaurants/bangkok-restaurant-reviews/sala-rattanakosin#sthash.NydLFoDk.dpuf
