Takayama is situated in the Japanese Alpsa. This lovely small town has a rich cultural heritage, mixture of edo and kyoto culture.

• Morning Market: in front of Takayama Jinya 
• Sanmachi: A charming old street lined by souvenir shops. A great place to stroll around and experience edo period architectures

Getting around in Takayama is very easy. Every attraction can be reached by foot or you can choose to explore takayama on a rickshaw.
